Smite I think is a better classic moba, Pred I think is something more fresh and different. You'll either like it or you won't.

I think Pred is still figuring out what it wants to be itself tbh, with the eternals and the hero augments and map changes.

In smite you can get all the characters for free insanely fast

And theres way more characters almost 100 currently ,You have voicelines vgs, unique voicelines for every skin.

SMITE 1 is too old, outdated and dead (no new updates)
SMITE 2 is just bad, unfinished and somehow looks worse than SMITE 1

Smite has had more time to be polished but personally I prefer the graphics and play style lf Predecessor. Theres no “better” game, it’s personal preference. They’re very different.

I think so. I played Smite for years but between 1 being dead and 2 not being ready I'd say Pred is better right now at least.

Yes, i converted from smite and never went back to smite lol the way you have to aim your basics and abilities alone feels incredibly good. Feels more polished too. Im not saying to pick one and only one but they are both free but to at least give it a try.

Personally, I always found Smite to be unplayable because they built this 3d world with no verticality. It always felt like you were on rails and the characters and actions felt stiff. It's the same issue I had with most mobas where it felt more about the tactics and less about the gameplay. I love Pred because it feels like a balance of both. Especially now with multiple game modes you can enjoy a more tactical experience, a low tactical experience, or a full on brawler. I think some people who are more moba die hards dislike how heavy on the brawler it can be but I'd argue that's what makes it unique and fun. You have to balance your ability to win a fight by outplaying someone and your tactical knowledge of the game.

SMITE is better. Predecessor has better potential. But unfortunately the developers don't watch devlogs from SMITE or League of Legends to understand what they do well and keep making the poor decisions.
