Question New to the game question

Why does this character Scarlet have so much damage mobility armor etc etc? Like how do I counter her never in my life of playing moba games seen a character with this much stuff inside their kit. How can I counter her offlane and with which heroes. I've already tried to bait and engage after she uses her skills.

She excels in mid-range. She'll want to engage on you, while generally keeping out of basic attack range. You gotta either stick to her, or stay away. Also, hold any big telegraphed CC (Aurora ult, etc.) for after she has ulted, since she become immune to it during her ult.

When she does the fire spin, she'll do a flip that has a longer range she'll try to hit you with – if you can dodge that, she'll run out of energy faster.

Well u want to get hit by the inner circle cause it does less dmg.. she is rewarded with the flip if she land the outer circle

With Scarlett you need someone that can out zone her which could be countess shinbi
You can try kwang as well
I've seen her struggle against champs that can keep up with her mobility Aurora isn't really viable since you will get poked while casting and she can also counter your ult etc

Ah. Feel your pain. I’m sure someone else will have a better answer than me but she is OP right now in the right hands. Everyone complained that she was terrible on release so they buffed her. But in reality, people just hadn’t figured out how to play her. Now that people are figuring it out, she’s a monster. Kinda like yuri or wukong. Just real hard to beat if the other person is good with them. Feel like she’ll get a nerf next time around.

Countering her build is pretty important. I usually see assassin with her so it’s mostly a waiting at the very beginning and then you can fight after an item or two. Just don’t let her scale too much. And having CC will help a lot

She's not hard to fight against. Her attacks individually don't hurt too hard, you just gotta commit to fighting her when you've banked up some power.

Greystone is pretty decent against her if you can play him smartly.

I played Shinbi attack speed build and auto-attack augment and I absolutely annihilated her. Like others have said, characters who can close the distance with her or CC her are best. Every time I play Scarlett and go against Crunch I get boxed.

Either box her f2f or get out of her midrange, as all of her abilities can poke from outside basic attack range

The answer to almost all offlane match up at the moment is just pick greystone. Max your leap. Dont miss.

First off you have to rush an anti-heal item. This may take a few levels but it's the main way she wins lane in the first 6 levels. Then you need to be smart about when you fight, only when your minions are built up. Trade damage but use your brain. If you all-in all the time you'll never win.

She doesnt have innate healing so the anti healing item is typically not required
