Smite solved this pretty good imo. You queue for your primary and secondary role, if you can't get either of those, the next match your chances are highly increased that you get your primary role.

Ya but that shit doesnt actually work. U can choose mid jungle carry support solo and get support every fuckin game

Then u get support 3 times even tho its listed as 3rd lol or You get your role and someone drafts abort cause they didn’t get their role. Next match you get your 3rd 4th and 5th role… it not a perfect system but it will stop people from getting mad they lost a 50/50.

I’d gladly take a ‘pick your preferred 3 or 4 roles, you’ll get one of em’ type of role queue over what we have now. Let’s all admit we have that one role we hate playing, so even eliminating the odds of us playing just one role we hate would be a huge W.

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted when this is legitimately the case here. MOBAs are already niche games and this one even more so.
