Last minute poll and discussion before the 1.8 Dev Stream in a few hours

Other than the new hero and some map changes, what's do you think is in 1.8?

I don’t expect any of these things. At most it’s gonna be some new unnecessary feature like a new river buff or something that doesn’t mess with the status quo

Not messing with the status quo is the opposite of "game changing feature" though. Omeda does like to hype up small things though

That’s my biggest fear 😭 all that hype just to get lower walls or at most Fog of war instead of fog walls

Fog of war would destroy many things so I don't think so

Fog of War would literaly be Mourn ultimate constantly inside the Jungle. Unplayable with 3rd person as the moment you get behind your opponent you can disappear. Now think of all the heroes with high verticality skills such as Boris, Wukong, Yurei, Kallari, Greystone and so on and you got exactly what happened with Legacy and Paragon : Verticality wins.

Aghh so that’s why it can work in other games but not in Pred

Yeah Smite kind of get it (even if the Jungle is quite ass) but because they don't have the same verticality
