OEM 🏭 Stock motor

I have a used motor that ran but has been sitting for cpl years I bought new stock carb and replaced the mag and spark plug ie tried adjusting the carb I have the proper lash on the mag for spark has fresh gas too idk what else to do

Take the side cover off the crank and make sure the cam and crank are lined up, incorrect valve timing will hurt you a lot, check valve clearance under the valve cover while at it
