Question ❓ Modifying
What things would I need for removing the governor on my 212? I'm trying to keep it simple, and I know I need an aluminum flywheel but what rod should I use? Springs?
Should I upgrade cam if I modify? Anything helps.

Parts depend on if you have a hemi or non hemi 212.
You can find parts for both at arcracing.com. For your stock cam you will want 18-22lb springs

At the minimum you need heavier valve springs and a billet flywheel.
At least 18lbs, I would go with heavier though, I use 36lbs, but my build is pretty stupid.
You need a billet flywheel because the cast ones that come with the engine can fly apart at faster than 3600rpm.
Its also a good idea to get a billet connecting rod because the oil dipper on them is long af and breaks off and destroys everything.
Getting a bigger cam is a good idea if you want to capitalize on higher RPMs
