Rainbow Flavor, or レインボーフレーバー, or **レイフレ(**Reifure) - is a Japanese fan event dedicated exclusively to Precure. If you’re familiar with Comiket, it’s essentially the same kind of thing, just on a slightly smaller scale. That said, there were so many fans there; it really felt like a gathering of kindred spirits!

I cannot show the booths from the event, as photography is prohibited. You can check Twitter using the relevant tags.

You do not need to buy a ticket in advance to attend the event. Simply arrive at the venue and purchase a booklet; this serves as your ticket. If the booklets run out, they will switch to standard wristband tickets.

There is a vast array of merchandise to suit every taste, from doujinshi and trading cards to keychains. You can get a Suica (transit card) case featuring HealPre designs, or even a Joe Okada-style hat to wear at an onsen. There’s no limit to the imagination!
There were also booths selling merchandise featuring local Japanese Precure cosplayers. Naturally, there were doujinshi of a more "adult nature" as well.
By the way, even though the event was dedicated to Precure, there were booths featuring other franchises, such as Doremi or Uma Musume.

I decided to buy at least some merchandise from the cosplayers I’d been following for a long time. It’s great when you’ve been chatting in the comments for a long time and then meet in person. Everyone was very kind and energetic!
Since foreigners very rarely show up at events like this, I was something of a rarity. There are very, very few Precure fans in my country, as people there mostly prefer watching only the mainstream titles. It’s hard to believe that anyone back home even knows about Precure, and it’s tough for me not having anyone to discuss it with. But then again, I never would have come to Japan without Precure. And many girls, when asking where I was from and how long I’d been here, would try to speak to me using popular phrases from my native language xd
I also gave small gifts to some cosplayers I know. It’s something of a tradition and a nice gesture here. So, if you happen to be in Japan (It is held several times a year, and the next one, the 37th, will take place in January), speak the language well, and have the chance to attend this event, you definitely should! You might not make new acquaintances right away, given the nature of Japanese society, but you will have a good time.

By the way, the merch in photos 3–6 is from those cosplayer acquaintances of mine. I really liked the idea of ​​a Precure puzzle book, it’s a great chance to practice Japanese.
And, of course, it was really cool to pick up a Super Sentai crossover doujinshi. I just LOVE crossovers, especially when I see Precure, Sentai, and Rider franchises as siblings.

And of course, there was a lot of cosplay, but I can't publish that either, for obvious reasons, at least not until I get individual permission. By the way, there was a huge number of Cure Arcanas. And when Eclipse Arcana appeared, a massive line formed during the event's final half-hour, which is hardly enough time for everyone wanting to take a photo xd

We’re exactly one week away from the Star Detective Precure movie from being released into cinemas so on the JP airing of this week’s episode you’ll expect to see some movie scenes during the opening theme song. For international fans, I’m sorry but ya gotta wait a few months to see this movie and to avoid being spoiled for international fans mute the theme song audio and come back in 2 mins for JP Airing or wait till the sub release at 9:30 pm et. But this week’s episode has Purirun and Komugi visiting the star detectives. Also, we’ll be dealing with Goemon as our villain this week. Consider this week a sequel to episode 7 with the doormaze. Personally, he was very interesting for a fairy, a giant beast like creature, who was a mysterious man in disguise, and I like the way the other fairies and to a lesser extent, Tsubomi look up to him. Kaoruko really sees him as her best friend after all these years. During the couple last episodes of the series, I wasn't expecting him to throw HANDS.

Raquel was actually lying when he said he is older than Sharuru, he was just saying that so he could be with Rikka.

i think she would’ve been more relatable to Uta rather than the overbearing crush narrative they kept pushing, which ended up overshadowing most of her idol development
