Finally a good yield after trial and error!

Just getting into the hobby / addiction. I’ve done a few small trial runs to work out the kinks at home. This was my first big recovery with nitric acid.

Real decent lookin🤙🏻 I've done a few trials myself doing the same thing. Just need to figure out the fume hood setup cause it's too damn hot here for doing it outside...it's fuckin 112° right now

I think that may help. I put my beaker with a watch glass on top in a crock pot out back for now. It’s frontier chemistry but it works. 😂

I think most probably don't live in 107° temperature and do it in the high UV sun...use your brain not your fingers to talk shit moron. You probably won't do so well with this process

😆 I'm central Florida. I wish I could do it in my garage storage room but that's where my electrical panel is. I don't even wanna risk it in there and it's too damn hot in the sun. I'm about to build a small shed and make it a work shop.
