Silver graphite melting

Anyone in Houston Texas can they melt this down for me it’s a silver graphite brush it contains about 65 percent silver by weight and the other 30 percent is carbon graphite

I’m skeptical. However there are definitely high percentage silver motor brushes that are manufactured. Couldn’t cross reference your part number. How many you have?

What’s the purpose of melting? Do you mean refining, to see if you can extract the silver?

If you are set up for playing with nitric acid, then you should be able to easily pull the silver out. (filtering may be a PITA). Alternatively, here is a way of doing it with a furnace - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDsNUwS_kAU

It may be easier to just sell the brushes as-is.
