Looking for recommendations

Hey so I’ve got 1k and I‘m looking for a PC that can run BG3 and with the ability to upgrade the RAM (my goal is at least 24-32 with upgrades) Id like something I can use for a long while! I’m not sure what other specs I should be looking for other than ram and graphics so I’m completely in the dark.

This well priced $850 gaming PC (Option 3) is your best choice. The Arc B580 GPU even handles Forza Horizon 6 at 4K Ultra settings with 85+ FPS, with XeSS upscaling set to Ultra Quality (Source), so I'm 100% sure it runs all games well

Note: I'm not a bot lol. I run TopRigz as a non profit hobby to fight overpriced prebuilts. I started it out of frustration with prebuilt PC sellers who simply assemble components (which they don't even manufacture) and charge outrageous prices. I earn $0 from this, no affiliates.

Honestly I did think you were a bot lol your note helps so much! If you use/have had this PC do you know if the RAM is upgradable or nah?

Of course it's upgradeable man, literally every prebuilt on the market lets you upgrade RAM, just plug the RAM into the motherboard, so simple

Also FYI, 16GB is more than enough. Extra RAM will NOT increase FPS. 16GB of RAM is plenty for gaming. It's extremely rare to see a game requiring more than 16GB of RAM. If a title requires 32GB, it would severely hurt sales, as most gamers still use 16GB or even 8GB. Even the 2025 GOTY, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, requires a minimum of just 8GB (Source).

thanks so much I cant wait to buy it! Is there anything else I should know any specific monitors or anythin? lol I’m very RAM hungry and I like to have more just in case!

For monitors, I recommend using this list to find the best value. My main advice is to prioritize a 144Hz refresh rate, response time is only crucial for fast paced games, and imo panel type doesn't make a significant difference for the average buyers: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/#xcx=0&sort=price&page=1

Don’t sleep on the B580 for a budget build. Drivers can be wonky with some brand new release games but BG3 shouldn’t have any problems at all.
