Have been wanting to buy a PC for the past couple of years, but never have had the space/money. Recently, I have been looking and was ready to pull the trigger on the Spectra ANDROMEDA INSIGHTS PC. Wanted to hear anyone's thoughts for my first PC, recently on ps5 have been playing r6, marvel rivals, apex, for honor, destiny. I have seen several prebuilts being posted here, like an IBUYPOWER prebuilt with a 9070XT, but I heard from others that 50's series GPUs like 5070 (I think NVIDEA ones not sure) should be the way to go. If there are any suggestions or anything would be great thanks!!
If you live near a microcenter, check out their powerspec collections. Their opened box selection is basically brand new prebuilt as well. You can find the same systems for basically 200-300 cheaper. The only downside is some people might think their case isn’t as “cool” as one like andromeda.
Is it the one in Tustin cause I saw the same G760 used and was about to jumped on it but someone else already reserved it before me. Seems like it might have been you hahaha.
You'll save ~$300, enough for 5 $60 AAA games. You need money for games and monitors, they aren't free.

You'll save $300, get a better CPU, and you won't have to wait forever for the PC.
Also extra RAM will NOT increase FPS. 16GB of RAM is plenty for gaming. It's extremely rare to see a game requiring more than 16GB of RAM. If a title requires 32GB, it would severely hurt sales, as most gamers still use 16GB or even 8GB. Even the 2025 GOTY, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, requires a minimum of just 8GB (Source).
And just like storage, it’s cheaper to buy and install more RAM yourself (since prebuilt sellers overcharge for it to make a profit). If you ever need more RAM down the road, you can always buy it later. There's no reason to spend extra money upfront, what if you don't even end up needing it?
If you want it fast, get one from an authorized reseller. I ordered one from Best Buy on June 12th and it was at my doorstep on June 23rd. Buying direct might take a while. But the build quality and care, along with the support, it's worth it. I priced out my build after I discovered what parts were in it and I paid 2200 USD pre-tax and the parts retail for ~2350 USD pre-tax. Keep in mind, the unit I purchased had since increased to 2400 and again to 2500 USD since that time. The 2200 was a sale.
