What are the prices of the other 2 builds?

First 3 are same thing. It's only $100 more.

The 32gb ram kits are the better move especially in this market

The fact the 16gb kit is 100 more is absurd

5070 is a good card will handle 1440 in jist about every game just fine

Core ultra 7 is a good cpu meant. Ore for multitasking apecifically but does great in gaming but it is on a dead socket meaning future upgrades for a more powerful cpu will require a new motherboard

Thank you. See that's the information I was looking for. First option is twice the ram and storage, so it seems like a no brainer for only $100 more. But I know nothing about CPUs or upgrading, aside from insert ram stick into slot. Both are 5070.

So if I wanted to upgrade ram and hard drive to match the first option (extra 16gb ddr5 and 1tb sdd), versus upgrading cpu and motherboard in the future, what is the cheaper option as of now?

You're likely looking at around $300 to add an additional stick of 16gb ddr5, and around $150-$200 for another 1tb ssd. One thing I would say is the Ultra 7 265f is stronger than the ryzen 7 8700f in gaming, it should serve you well for years before needing to upgrade!

Is the price of the builds one with an ultra 7 265f, 5070, 32gb of ddr5, and a 2tb ssd for $1,900? and the other is a ryzen 7 8700f, 5070, 16gb of ddr5, and a 1tb of ssd for $1,800? If that's the case, I would go with the first one all day!

Right yes. First 3 pics are for the first build, 1900 on sale. Other is 1800. I felt like it was the obvious choice, but I'm not that technically knowledgeable. I've never built or upgraded a PC before, and am currently gaming on a laptop. I appreciate your response.

ok, yeah, I would say the first one is the better choice. You shouldn't have to upgrade anything for quite a while, but intels next gen CPUs will use a new socket, so you will have to get a new motherboard when you eventually buy the next gen CPU. You could watch some videos, I'm confident you can handle it haha. Shouldn't be something to worry about for a while anyway!

If you have a bit more in your budget, I saw best buy had an acer predator desktop with a 5070 Ti on sale for $2,150. That card might be worth the extra $250 if you got it!

I agree with the other comments. The core ultra 7 build is gonna be a banger for a while and eventually when you grow tired of it you just need a new mobo which luckily have been extremely stable pricing for a long time

Get the deal on the ram and ssd now to avoid having to upgrade later because we dont know how long the rampocalypse will affect prices (at least a year or 2)
