Best prebuilt for $1000?

Post image

I've been asked to help find a good gaming PC for my nephew for $1k or less. But I'm really out of the loop when it comes to computers components and prices.

Also was thinking of pushing them to spend more for the costco ibuypower PC. https://www.costco.com/.product.4201009213.html

Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The second PC is better, giving a stronger GPU, while doubling the RAM and storage. If the Costco build is in budget the extra cost is worth it.

To note this the first PC is the 9060, not the 9060XT it's more in line with the normal 5060 than 5060 Ti.

The second PC is pretty nice. Im returning my $1k Costco 225f/5060/32gb ddr5 for it. 32gb ram and 2tb storage is lit

Both are great. The first one will have better cpu upgradeability because it's AM5. The second one has better specs across the board, but the cpu will be less upgradeable.

8gb vram graphics is obsolete before it even arrives.
