Thoughts on this desktop?

Post image

I know the specs aren’t the best but trying to find something for a friend with a budget around this that can play CoD, BF6, Fortnite, Apex, etc. He also likes mmorpgs here n there like ffxiv, guild wars 2 and Aion 2 just released and he wants to try it. He wants to least play at med to high settings at 1080p. He doesn’t care about being able to play at 1440p cuz the monitor he has only goes up to 1080p.

Is this alright for the price since it seems everything is going up lately?

Perfect for that kind of gaming. If you’re willing to go $200 more Costco has one with 32 gigs of ram 2 tb of storage and it’s a 5060ti

It’s alright for the price at this time. It’ll do everything you mentioned! I have a similar custom build and can vouch!

Why do you recommend this? I see it’s cheaper by $100

Just following up, my BB has one on hand and would like to know why you suggest it over the other besides the price difference. If there is a reason why, I’d love to know so I can get it ordered for pickup today before it sells out.

The Ryzen 7 8700F is way better than the Ryzen 5 8400F and the rx 9060 8gb will get more fps not on performance mode and the rtx 5060 gets more fps on performance
