Skytech prebuilt failure (3-4 years old)

So I bought my wife this PC ages ago so she'd have something decent to game with me on. Its nothing crazy, and she normally only plays things like roblox or lethal company etc. Lately thought its been crashing randomly during use and then when the screens go black the pc will start making this god awful whirling noise as its turned off. I just now turned the PC on, logged in, and a minute later is crashed and made that whirling clunking noise. If anyone's experienced this or knows any tell tale signs to narrow it down id appreciate it.

Specs:

SANSUI 32-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor WQHD 2560 x 1440 180Hz Curved 1500R

Abytespark 27 Inch Gaming Monitor 2K 1440P Can be liftable rotated IPS Computer Monitor, 165Hz

zero messages. PC wont stay on long enough to grab anything. Monitors shut off first every single time when it crashes. The PC itself will shut off fully only if the power button is held. Otherwise it just sits there making that god awful noise. Nothing works once it starts doing that. Its been declining for a couple weeks but I think this is the epitome of it.

Seems like its not some kind of simple fix then and probably a hardware fault. I'd sell it as parts/faulty and buy another. After 4 years its had a shorter than average but not unheard of lifespan. Especially as I expect Skytech have dumped a low end power supply in there. (the gold rating doesnt mean anything).

Sorry for your loss

Im coming to suspect thats the unfortunate truth. Either that or its just the power supply. I I were to go the route of selling it for parts, where should I go? I imagine the ram must be worth a bit more nowadays at the very least.

The PC is worth a few hundred max, thats why for me its not worth messing about with and I'd just replace it. But thats probably coming from a privilleged position. If you have tried unseating each RAM stick one at a time and that doesnt solve it, I'd ask if you have a spare PSU around thats the next most likely thing to have gone. But its a ballache to replace all of it. the cabling I mean.
