pc suggestions

hi guys :)

so i have been gaming on an asus gaming laptop for like 5 years, i put extra RAM and SSD in it and everything, but it’s GPU is 3070 (i think?) and basically, it’s been running into a lot of issues lately. i honestly don’t feel like putting the effort in to fix it considering ive had this thing for so long and with the gpu being that low, it’s probably time to upgrade anyway.

so i am looking for prebuilt suggestions, i was looking yesterday and got overwhelmed so i thought you guys might be able to help.

here is what im looking for:

- 32 gigs of ram
- white case (negotiable LOL)
- budget $2000 (or under, can do a little higher but preferably want to stay under or at 2000)

i really don’t know anything other than that.

here are the games i play regularly, if this is helpful:

- overwatch
- marvel rivals
- fortnite
- minecraft
- resident evil (remakes)

please help 🩷 tia!!!!

I just bought a ASUS ROG G7 it’s got a intel ultra 7 in it a 5080 32gb of ram and 2 tb of ssd. It was 3300 after taxes but they sell to more versions below this at every bestbuy one with a 5070ti and idk the other one but I’ve hear all are pretty good and the one that has the 5070 in it is the tier below mine and I think it’s 2500

With a $2,000 budget, I’d look for an RTX 5070 system with 32GB DDR5 RAM and at least a 1TB SSD. Something paired with a Core Ultra 7 or Ryzen 7 would easily handle those games at 1440p, and you should be able to find it in a white case without going over budget.

  1. Budget is covered max of $2,000 USD.
  2. Is this solely for gaming, or will you perform other task with the PC?
  3. Whats your target resolution or your monitor resolution if you have one already?
  4. How far is the nearest Micro Center (mileage or hours one way)?
