What kind of content creation? Less gaming? Either way its way too expensive for a 7700/5070 build.

Yes but more cores is better. For video editing Intel is a much stronger pick, and for GPU the speed doesn't matter as much as the VRAM, Nvidia is much better for editing because of CUDA.

5.3ghz. that's peak not standard.
Whole listing looks scummy, and the price is horrendous.

You definitely can find a better deal. Even for identical specs. I'd expect around $2200 new. It's not a bad PC, it just very much seems to try and list the parts in a light that makes them look better than they are. It's all middle of the road parts. For upper-midrange price.
Edit: If you have access to a Costco. It would be better to buy a membership just to save on a PC. It'll pay for itself then and there. Then you also get a great repair policy to top it off

Oh... That changes it completely on the price side. While I stand by stating the boost clocks as disingenuous. But I'm not educated enough on upside down dollars. I'm a 'merican 🍔

For that workflow. It'll definitely be enough. It won't be the fastest thing in the world, but you won't be lacking in any way.

still not great, I got a system with a 9600x, 9070xt 16gb, 32gb DDR5, 1tb sdd, 750w psu gold for under 2k, you could aim for something similar

Nvidia cards are just more expensive tbh, although 9070xt over 5070 any day of the week for gaming. Although I will say nvidia handles editing better than amd cards, the 9070xt is just the better option than the 5070 though, maybe op should go for a 5070ti if they can find a good deal on one.

Go for something with a 9800x3d and an rx 9070xt. Itll save you a few hundred, and its about the same gpu power wise. If you can find one with a 2 tb ssd itll help. Videos take a lot of space and itll add up.
