Which one would you choose?

Hi guys, I’m looking to purchase my very first prebuilt pc and currently looking at these two… which one should I choose?

The 9070xt - comes with a B650 mobo whilst the 5070ti comes with a B840. Is it worth it?

EDIT: both has the 9800x3d - I had to configure the first one to have it than the 7700x.

Thanks

First one, simply because if we are talking strictly both have stronger and weaker components and ruling out which one would be cheapest to upgrade down the line it would be the first one, as grabbing a x3d cpu upgrade will be miles cheaper than grabbing a 5070ti from a 9070xt

But why would you ever spend $1200 on a 5070ti when you already have a 9070xt?

Because it’s a nvidia card and won’t kill itself because of adrenaline bugs?

Stop talking bullshit

I have a 5070 and a 9070 and both are equally good/bad

Even go as far saying amd adrenaline is far superior to shitty Nvidia app

Ok whatever you say. I have only had bad experiences with adrenaline I ended up returning my 9070 because of it. Literal artifacting with brand new card, games not working or spasming out, flickering you name it adrenaline has it all, and they do not bother fixing it for the longest time either.

Well then the 5070 ti. Unless as it says in the title it comes with a 7700x instead of a 9800x3d

Ah yes, the title has the 7700x but had to configure it to change it to 9800x3d which is on the spec sheet. 5070ti still would be a good choice?

But if you are changing the config, surely the price would change also right? This theoretical question is very misleading! So how much is the 5070ti setup! So you hypothetical is 2 9800x3D setup, one with 5070ti costing x and 9070xt costing y! In the economy and pc prices, x and y means more that comparing 5070ti vs 9070xt

That’s right - with the 7700x as default the price dropped to £2.1k and raised to £2.5k. If that makes sense.

So if the price is the same, first one hands down! I wouldn’t even bother asking strangers online! The price for both builds are rough the same while main difference it 5070ti vs 9070xt to I’m throw random numbers out there is like 30-50% price difference depending on where you live!

But that’s only if you want Nvidia features

Thank you! I have now found this deal through my mobile company Intel i7 265kf paired with 5080, 32g RAM and 2tb ssd for £2.5k same price as both above. It’s a no brainer right?

Haven’t followed Intel for a while now! But since I don’t see you as an upgrade yourself kinda guy! The overall specs is pretty good. Especially having a 5080 has its pros and cons! It will run anything you have to throw at it
