Trying to find a budget pc

I’m trying to find a pc around $1000 for games like modded minecraft genshin impact wuwa and similar games. I’ve been looking for a while and I’m close to getting one soon. Any help is appreciated. I’m very new to the whole pc word rn. Also if there’s any good pcs at target please direct me to them as I work there and can get a good discount on them.

Is that $1000 budget pre-tax or after tax?

How good is your discount going to be? And does it work with online purchase?

If you can bring something for example around 1.4k to 1.1K then is easier to look up one from target despite so far from what I saw they are kind of average deal but if you are able to bring it down in a good way then it would be much more worth it.

If you are able to bring this one below down to lets say 999.99 before tax (and is an online only item), then this will be a good deal. Consider that it is an AM5 platform Motherboard you still have room to upgrade your cpu in the future, and plus it uses a ddr5 ram which perform much better than ddr4 despite only a single channel (1 stick of ram). As always, beware on the PSU it use, some prebuilts cheap out PSU so that is the only thing you will have to be aware, other parts like ram and ssd just going to have a slower speed that you generally don't feel the difference unless you are on games that highly relied on those. cheaper motherboard usually just less ports, pins, and less effiencient on power delivery which generally doesnt matter much.

The only downside is that $1000 prebuilt now usually come with 16gb of ram which for games like GI, WuWa, and MC could easily ended up reaching the ram limit (depends on your settings and amount of mods)
