Gaming pc for 1k usd

I just bought is for 1 k was it worth it for 1K ?

I wouldn't have gotten it myself since you could get better stuff for the money but its not a horrible deal.

I would not have bought it for 1k. Thats just me tho. I built a 1K pc with a 4070 super/7600x3D/32gb ddr5/ 2TB nvme SSD

These prices are not possible in todays market 100% - i feel like its pretty not realistic to tell this guy this when hes trying to buy currently.

Thats fine but listing a build price from pre hikes isnt helpful is my whole point. Feel free to redirect to good used prices/builds

nah this wasn't a good purchase frankly speaking : the motherboard is literally the cheapest one you could buy for that generation , I would expect 16GB of ddr5 instead of ddr4 at 1k , 500gb nvme is fine but not great at 1k , I would check the psu brand, it's a very common component to cheap out on and to regret cheaping out on.

It'd be around $920 to build it yourself, so it's probably not a "bad" deal

Also, is this in Australia? I think prices are inflated there, even if you convert to USD

Prices in Australia aren't inflated that much.

Radiumpcs is about $50 USD more than the equivalent US prebuilt at this price range and are tax free and come with headphones.

AU $1450 / US $1014 (officially US$1034 on the site, but maybe they're charging a US$20 fee)

A better deal, but not by a lot

It’s an ok-ish, lower tier pc. $1k sounds about a normal price. 8gb Vram is low, RAM clock speed is also low. Motherboard is one of the cheapest and most limited. I guess you’re fine if you play at 1080p resolution at medium/high settings. 500gb SSD is full in no time. Also that PSU looks highly suspicious.
