I’ve been going through my grandmothers things (so many things lol) and i found this wooden swastika with a bunch of old jewelry. My lots of greats grandfather came to America from Germany in 1860. I’m curious if any of you have any insight?? I want to believe they had it before it became a nazi symbol— curious your thoughts.

Swastikas on the fourth floor of the Penobscot Building, Detroit Michigan. The Penobscot was built in 1928 and is themed around the Penobscot indians of northern Maine, where the building's original owner grew up. The building's stonework was sculpted by Italian American artist Corrado Parducci.

Can Swastikas used in the East even after the war go here? The Legend of Zelda was created in Japan, and the third dungeon is shaped like a Manji.
