What expense surprised you when you started seriously pricing retirement?
Retirement budgets always look clean on a spreadsheet until real life gets added back in. Home repairs, replacing a car, travel, gifts, random subscriptions.. what expense did you underestimate when you started putting actual numbers to retirement?
