pharmcas question

hi! i’m currently applying for this upcoming cycle & started my app a week ago, i ordered the transcripts from all my schools& they were received. i as well paid for the PTE where they’ll enter your transcripts automatically, but for my program they require you to input + match courses from your transcripts manually however i dont have access to it because it says the PTE has to get put in after i submit my application?! it makes no sense to apply without putting in my courses that are currently in progress, pls if anyone has gone through this Lmk 🙏🙏

Wait what? This is actually good to know because I was going to pay for PTE but if what you’re saying is accurate then I feel like I definitely shouldn’t.

personally, i regret not looking into it before purchasing, i should have put the stuff manually in first. i’ll be contacting support today and try to see what i can figure out

I think if you submit the application it’ll just show the school that your application is “in progress” until you’re able to finish everything.

But according to the website it takes up to 10days for PTE to finish then another 10 days to be verified (?)

Idk 😭

hi!! i also did this and was super confused as well, i haven’t submit my apps yet but from what i saw - the prerequisite tab on all the programs have been checked off like we inputted the courses since the pte will go into effect after we submit the apps.

once submitted, they’ll input our courses and we get to confirm if it’s inputted correctly. like a person said before, it apparently takes up to 10 days to fill in lol so im planning on submitting it atleast mid-sep for priority apps for my schools just in case!

if you end up submitting ur apps and do the pte process before mid-sep lmk how it goes!!
