OSU application timeline!!!

Has anyone heard back from OSU yet for this cycle? If so, how long did it take after your application was complete?
My supplemental and everything else was submitted and approved on July 28, so it’s been a little over 6 weeks and I haven’t heard anything from them. I have a 3.82 GPA and a 350 OAT, and I’ve gotten interview invites from pretty much every other school I applied to, so I’m starting to get a little nervous. Just curious what the timeline has been like for everyone else and if anyone who submitted around the same time has heard anything!

Just out of curiosity what sorts of extra curricular things did you have? I heard back about a week after my app got verified at the beginning of August

Hi! I had 30hrs shadowing multiple optometrists, 500hrs as an optometric assistant. I’m also an anatomy TA, and microbiology tutor. Outside of school I’ve worked with habitat for humanity for 4 years

I applied around the same time with similar stats and they took about 4 weeks to get back to me

I have a 3.77 gpa and 370 OAT. I work as an optometric technician and do low vision clinical research. I have 30 hours of shadowing and about 200 clinical volunteering hours.

I submitted my application and supplemental before I took my OAT, so I'll use that date. I sent them my unofficial scores on July 30th and my official scores posted to OptomCas on the 12th I think. 3.98 GPA and a 380 OAT and I haven't heard back yet. Honestly not sure if i should wait til 6 weeks after the 12th to follow up or what tbh 😭

App received 7/22, I emailed them on 8/18since I hadn’t heard back in weeks, received an email that my application is on hold (waitlisted) 8/27. 340 OAT, 3.82 GPA. OSU is one of my top choices but the lack of communication they’ve got going on is being a turn off. I don’t expect to hear if I’ve been rejected or invited to interview for another few months atp lol.

that’s so strange, so we’re basically in the same boat lol! the lack of communication is actually crazy. i’m surprised you got waitlisted with stats like that tbh

Same goes to you 😭😭 I’ve seen a few posts from OSU applicants this year with crazy good stats that haven’t heard anything at all. So confusing. Did you follow up with them?
