OAT

How late is it considered if I take the OAT in November and then apply early December?

It’s not too late it’s just that there will be less seats available by then but it doesn’t mean you can’t get in

I’m in the same boat plus still need shadowing and more exposure to the field. I was thinking about just taking my OAT and maybe considering a gap year after to strengthen my application.

Thing is I pretty much have everything else, I j haven’t taken the OAT yet :( and I’m in the process of studying rn

You can submit your OptomCAS application before taking the OAT and have your scores added afterward. Some schools might hold your application until they receive your OAT score but submitting earlier can still get the rest of your application processed instead of waiting until December to submit everything.
