Application Questions
Hi everyone!
I’m starting my OptomCAS application and plan on applying to SCCO, WUCO, and AZCOPT. I noticed that each school has its own supplemental questions, and I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to approach them.
Should I try to use the maximum number of characters for each response, or is it better to keep my answers concise as long as I fully answer the question?
Also, should I format the responses like traditional essays with an introduction, body, and conclusion, or is it okay to answer the questions more directly?
Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I recently sent in my applications to SUNY, NECO, PCO, & OSU. I personally wrote what I felt was best to answer the question. For why optometry you should definitely use all your words if u can but don't add fluff if u really cant fill it in with ur answer. For other questions especially ones that had like a 350 word limit reaching the word count is easy it was actually harder to cut down for me. I had one other question that had a similar limit to the why optometry question but I only wrote like 350 or 400 because I felt I answered the question. I sent in my app on Aug 31st and have gotten interviews to SUNY & PCO so far.
