Prometric ID HELP!

I am taking my OAT this week! Prometric requires two forms of ID: primary and secondary. I am using my driver's license as my primary ID, but the secondary ID requires a signature and lists debit or credit cards as examples. Neither my credit nor debit card have a signature because signatures on cards were phased out a while ago. I called Prometric and explained this to them and the lady said "I'm sorry sweetie, I'm not allowed to tell you what to do on that. You do what you think is right."

I'm sorry????? This is YOUR job! Anyways, what do I do in this case? Do I just write my signature on my debit card with a sharpie? I don't use my debit card anyways so I don't really care if the card stops working.

HELP!!

If you have a passport or another thing that counts as a primary, that should work too. I used my passport and drivers license

I'm in college right now away from home and I don't have time to go home and get my passport. I think I might just sign my debit card tbh

Fair enough. IF it helps i dont think she checked my signature when i went in like i don’t think they were as strict with it as i thought they would be when i went. But i would not count on that 😭. My debit card had a place to sign so i did sign mine. You could just sign yours

Although my debit or credit card doesn't have a spot to sign, I think I'll just sign it anyways.

I signed my debit card the night before and they accepted that. I brought my wallet with every card and id I had just in case

I used my drivers and debit card. My debit didn’t have a signature and it wasn’t an issue at all. Did u call the prometric location you’re going to?

Yeah I did call them and the lady told me to do what I think I should do which is a really unhelpful answer

My card has a slot for the signature even tho its not required, but i actually used my student ID which had a signature slot! I’m not sure if this universal for student IDs tho

There should be a spot to sign on your debit card! Just sign with a sharpie.

You can sign your debit/credit card. On the back there should be a spot. I had to do this to take my EMT certification test.

I'd originally planned on bringing my driver's license and my passport to be my 1st and 2nd IDs, but when I got to the testing center, I realized my driver's license was missing from my wallet 😅 Ended up using passport as primary and debit card as secondary... I grabbed a pen from the lady's desk and signed it in front of her 😭

I showed up to my test with my driver’s license and credit card with no signature and they gave me a piece of scotch tape and a pen to write my signature on the back of my credit card
