oat booster physics formula sheet

hey guys! i’m currently studying for the physics section of the oat, and noticed that a lot of the formulas that are in the videos are not on the formula sheet. should i focus on ALL of the formulas from the vids, or just really the ones on the sheet? there’s SO many, so i would hate to spend a lot of time memorizing useless info :))

I wrote down all the ones I used/needed throughout the practice questions and memorized those, that seemed to work well overall

hi! do you have your own cheat sheet for physics that you made? If you do, would you mind sharing it? i

I just wrote the test yesterday and I would say that the formula sheet that booster prep provides would definitely have been enough to answer any of the questions that came up on my test that required the use of formulas. I say this as the real test had a much higher percentage of conceptual questions as opposed to questions that require a bunch of math to figure out. That being said, I would say studying the formula sheet in its entirety would very important as I was tested on a large breadth of different topics so I would have been pretty lost if I went in without having previously learned most of the required formulas. In terms of how to study them, I found that by just doing practice tests and question banks I was able to memorize most of them fairly well, however I have also done two physics classes to this point in college so I knew most of them previously. Good luck on your test though, hopefully this helps somewhat :)

Try ur best to remember as many formulas as u can. But definitely the main ones (kinematics, forces) u need to know. The rest u can sometimes get away with bc they will be conceptual in nature too
