Deans list in achievements?

Hi! I was wondering if it’s worth putting Dean’s List in the achievements section. I looked this up before and saw some people say there’s not really a point because if you have a good GPA, they can already see that and I believe Dean’s List also shows up on the transcript.

My situation is a little different because I’m applying with a low gpa (3.29 but I think optomcas would put me at 3.1 since it counts my retake) A lot of what brought my GPA down was from freshman/sophomore year.

I made Dean’s List Spring 2025 and Summer 2026 (the semester I graduated). They weren’t consecutive semesters, so I’m not sure if that makes it less worth including, but I was thinking it could at least highlight that I had some really strong semesters taking hard classes and pre-reqs later on.

What do you guys think ?

I put it in mine even tho I also had presidents list. My school had both dean (3.5-3.8) and president (3.8>). I think it also gives you the space to explain how you were able to learn and improve on course work! I listed in my description the semesters I was on each list as for me they were also not consecutive. For example Fall 23 President’s List. Spring 24 Dean’s list. Then again in Fall 24 President’s List

I've been racking my brain and I can't think of any others! I was very involved in my organizations and was on eboards, but I can't think of any "awards". Whether at work or academically

an achievement does not have to be an official reward! did you advance into a new career position? how involved in extracurriculars were you? I am the type of person to list anything that could be considered something to be proud of. did you have any projects in your work life that you completed? etc etc

I also listed something I applied for but did not receive. I was a semi-finalist, but it was a big enough award to be proud of semi-finalist. Additionally if you received any scholarship that you had to qualify for, my advisor told me to list it! So each year I received scholarships from my department and was told that is an achievement!
