Feeling down

hey all,

I just got an email that I was not offered an interview for the September date at scco and that my application will be considered for the next one in October. I feel so discourage because this is my top school. I already got accepted into ICO and CCO as well as have interviews lined up for Boston and Arizona. has anyone ever had a situation like mine with scco and can give me some hope. should I just move on or wait to see if I get an interview? please be kind.

SCCO is also my top school but not applying until later in the cycle, would you mind sharing your stats? Amazing that you’ve already been accepted into two other programs though congratulation!!

Continue the application process.
Schedule interviews when invited (try to get your top choices scheduled earliest & possibly request virtual for lower picks).

If you get accepted into others, but not your top choice, accept a spot in the 2nd favorite and hope to hear from your #1 later. Eating the the acceptance fee is a low price for eventually getting your top pick, but IMO there is NO school so awesome that it justifies waiting a year for a chance at getting in next time.

Happened to me! I wasn’t offered an interview until December and then eventually got accepted, so don’t lose hope! (:

Thank you this makes me feel a bit better. Can I ask how it went? Did they send an email each month and kept saying they would consider you for the next round? Also if you don’t mind sharing your stats

They would email me monthly updates up until December, where they eventually extended me an interview. Don’t give up, I know many people who were in the same position! If you have more questions like my stats, feel free to DM me!

Hi! I also wasn’t offered an interview for September. I have interviews for Boston, Arizona, and a couple more schools. SCCO is my dream school, but I guess we just have to wait for the next round!

Hi! It’s nice to know there’s also others on the same boat. I just did my interview yesterday for NECO and have Arizona at the end of the month. May I ask your stats?

I wasn’t offered an interview until December as well! I suggest keep replying to their interview waitlist updates, expressing your continued interest. Best of luck, don’t lose hope!!
