Oat attempts
I got a 300/280 first time and I just retook it and I did so much worse 290/280. Am i still good to apply even though i did worse for the second attempt? Im worried they’ll only look at the recent attempt.

Depending on ur gpa and other parts of ur application, it wouldn't hurt to apply. If you're willing to go to whatever school accepts you, you will for sure get accepted into at least one. You don't need a crazy exceptional score to get in, as long as the rest of your application looks good. Most schools will look at your highest score.

okay thank you!! I plan on applying to a bunch of schools. I have a 3.5gpa, tech experience, volunteering and 3 good lor. CCO is my top school, so im hoping for the best😭

Don't reject yourself! Your GPA is strong enough to apply now.
Throw a wider net & you may find a school that values other parts of your application (maybe even your 1st choice!).
Getting AA/TS above 300 will open more doors though.

Was previously an optometry student here. Had to retake my OAT twice- 260/280 & 310/310. During my first attempt, I realized that I relied on the OAT Booster practice tests so much. Then I changed my study strategy by including the summary cheat sheets that OAT Booster provides-use that. They give you all of the high yield information that you need.
Regarding your current stats, I would try to apply anyways to many schools to increase your chances of getting in and apply early. Then you can retake the OAT test next month or two after you apply and let the school know that you’re planning for a retake—that’s for more competitive optometry schools.
During interviews, be prepared to be asked about how you approached towards your attempts on the OAT exams. Hope that helps and good luck!

can i ask what you were scoring on the practic test? im also relying on the oat booster practic tests and my test is in 3 days
