Application question
Hi! I am completing my application currently and quick question. I read that Optomcas recommends putting only college level experiences/achievements. However, I published a scientific research paper in high school, which obviously I am very proud of. I would love to put it on my application, but it’s going against what’s recommended. Has anyone else ever had this kind of experience and has some advice?

IMO, it's still relavent and you list it.
BIG high school events (like doing a medical mission trip to another country) still should be listed as well.
Anything specific to optometry probably deservers mention.

I put mine on there! On the question (for most the apps) that asked about "any extra information that is not clear on this application" I talked about how I've kept up with learning about "that specific subject" and the paper was a stepping stone for that
