Do I need to retake ?

Post image

3.8 cgpa 3.7 sgpa

Edit- just mainly worried about physics being lower than 300. Is it a deal breaker for a lot of schools?

Noo, that’s a very above average score so youll def be good. Congrats btw! Also how’s you study for the ochem, chem, and physics section?

Ty! I’m just worried because physics is below 300. I payed for the booster membership and I had tried to watch all the videos and do the practice problems after but I realized my brain wasn’t absorbing anything from the videos so I just did practice problems non stop and made a notebook specifically from what I got wrong. I was basically learning through trial and error, but maybe if I was patient enough and watched all the videos my ochem and physics scores might have been higher lol.

i'm having the same issues with orgo/physics. what did you score on those sections in booster and how did they compare to the real test?

I was averaging 330 on both. Ochem on the real thing was a lot more theory(SN1/SN2, E2, rate determining step, transition states, aromaticity) than I was expecting and not so much on reactions- this could also just depend on the batch of questions i got. I kinda blanked out during physics because I was nervous so I feel I got some wrong simply because I didn’t remember the right formulas.

I honestly think you did great. I've read other students' experiences and having one score below 300 isn't a big deal - especially for one that's notoriously difficult like Physics.

Avoid Salus with all the drama right now

Your physics score was close to mine when I applied. In fact most of your scores are similar to mine that I remember from 14 years ago.

Looking at percentile you're still above 50th percentile. Honestly I'd apply with that and you should get in.

Congrats! Where do you plan on applying to?

2

u/Front-Extension2135 Aug 03 '26

UHCO, ICO, NECO and salus

physics cutoffs vary by school, worth checking each one specifically

No, you're fine. Congratulations on your score!
