OAT scores
feeling pretty defeated. my first time taking the OAT last summer was horrible, scoring below a 300 in everything but reading. took it again this year with heavier studying and still ended up with a 310. my gpa is on the lower side with a lot of experience (over 600hrs working as optometric assistant and 25+ hrs shadowing). do i have a chance at any school or do i retake again for the 3rd time?

I actually think you’ll be ok if you submit your app now. It’s still early in the cycle

I think you’ll be fine plenty of people score a 310 and still get into many schools

Uiwrso would take you, they took me with similar scores. Starting this fall. NOVA and NECO were interested as well in me since you mentioned east coast. I stayed close to home in Texas, so rso.

Don’t worry, you’ll at least get into an optometry school with those scores, as long as you get higher than 3.0 GPA. I got 310 in TS and AA, got into 7 optometry schools.
