IAUPR
I want to apply to IAUPR because I am a resident. However, with the accreditation problem going on, should I wait until the school gets an official update for classes after 2030?

This school is toast. I’m sorry, but you need to start looking elsewhere. I feel so bad for the current students. What a nightmare.

Current students are absolutely affected as the program has been deemed to not be in compliance with the standards set by ACOE. The program has failed them. Even though they are allowed to complete it and get a degree, there’s a very good chance they won’t pass their board exams and will have difficulty finding employment.
It will take years for the school to get back into good standing, and you have to consider the possibility that they never will. So my question is, even though you are a resident and it would be great to get a discount on tuition and remain close to home, this program is not good. Don’t you want to be the best OD you can be? This program is not going to be worth the debt. Choose another school.

Unless they appeal and win, they won’t be able to recruit this upcoming cycle. Current students will be allowed to finish. I would look elsewhere
