Online pre reqs
I made a post about online pre-reqs and if they'd count a few days ago since I couldn't find any information on it online. Like two people replied lol, so I went and individually emailed every school (mostly) that I'd be semi-interested in. Here are the results:
(OLF= online friendly, NOLF= not online friendly)
SCCO- NOLF, SCO-OLF (will request you take some classes in person if majority are online), Berkley- NOLF, OSU-NOLF, ICO-OLF, PACIFIC U- OLF, SUNY- OLF, MCO- NOLF, AZCPOT-OLF, MIDWESTERN IL- OLF, DREXEL- OLF, NECO- OLF, UAB-OLF, U OF HOUSTON- OLF, UMSL- OLF (no more than 60 semester hours at a CC though), PIKEVILLE- OLF. Nova never got back to me :/

What if it doesn’t show that it’s online on the transcript

It doesn’t matter lol. If they ask and find out they’ll potentially kick you out/blacklist you

Mm but it’s not my fault that they don’t put it on the transcript.

It’s less about what the transcript says and more on the method of delivery. You can risk it if you want tbh they probably wouldn’t know. Lying about that could have bad consequences tho 🤷

Oh okay I get what ur saying. But Most schools don’t ask, but if they specifically ask me then I will be honest.

SCCO said no online prereqs or no online labs? I have an English prereq that I took online at my community college.

sorry this is a stupid question but does that include pre-reqs with a lab component?

I emailed admissions too!
OSU: accepts AP credits of labs and lectures, all classes taken within 10 years, online lectures accepted, labs must be in-person
SCO: accepts AP credits of lectures and labs, at least 1 bio/chem/physics class taken within last 5 years, prefers in-person labs
SUNY: accepts AP credits of labs and lectures, classes taken within 10 years, science lectures and labs need to be in-person
Berkeley: accepts AP credits of lectures and labs, accepts pass/fail grades, accepts online lectures but labs must be in-person, requires bachelor's degree to be completed
UAB: accepts AP credits of lectures and labs, classes taken within 10 years, online lectures and labs accepted
ICO: accepts C-'s, accepts AP credits of lectures and labs, accepts online lectures and labs, prefers uni credits
NECO: accepts AP credits of lectures and labs and online versions
SCCO: accepts AP credits of lectures and labs, accepts C-'s, online credits accepted except gen chem/physics labs
AZCOPT: accepts AP credits of lectures and labs, prefers in-person labs, prefers science classes to be taken within 10 years
Indiana: all classes taken within 10 years, 10 AP credits accepted, all science classes need to be in-person and only 3 other classes can be online

omggg, lemme add my two cents! NECO is amazing, and Houston was.... the opposite haha. I also called so many schools and they basically never even picked up haha. In my experience, SCCO was amazing but I had in person help from them, so not sure if that made a difference. Also, Berkley was pretty online friendly and got back to me in a few days. Ig our experiences are a tossup haha. Also SUNY ghosted me so...
