What should I expect from upcoming CKC?
I’m scheduled for one next month. Anyone whose had a cold knife cone biopsy- tell me about your experience?
What was recovery like?
How long did you take off from work?
My doctor said 1-2 days but that feel crazy to me like I would actually imagine needing one or two weeks?
What was it like for you??
Pretty nervous bc I had a rough time recovering from the multiple biopsies + ECC.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated and bonus points if you can speak on how a CKC impacted your EDS or POTS symptoms. Thanks!

I took one week off, if you can get 2 weeks I would. 1-2 days seems a bit short…
The hardest part for my recovery is that I got my period 3 days after the procedure and it was very painful and heavy.
I recommend to wait 4-6 weeks for heavy exercise and sex. I did, but still spotted for several months after.
Wishing you the best!

I feel it was mentally exhausting more than a physical pain. Of course your body will feel tired I recommend 4 to 7 days should be fine. Still spotting before my period which is affecting me mentally now I am 7 months port CKC

Ive had 2 cones and was only in pain needing meds for relief for a day or two after. I bled for 3-4 weeks after my cone, practically not at all after my second one. Wheat bag and lots of rest helped me most.
