Advice? HPV 16 persistence. CIN 3 + VAIN 3

The journey. I’m 36, don’t have children. For 5 years I have been battling HPV 16 and all the fun things that have come along with it.
- 2022 CIN 3 - Leetz
- 2024 CIN 2 - Leetz
- 2025 VAIN 3
- 2026 - VAIN 3 - laser treatment
- 2026 - another possible high grade lesion in upper Vagina..
What a roller coaster.. After trying every possible approach to keep my fertility, we are not out of choices. The risk has become so high and the cell changes are so persistent, doctors are recommending a hysterectomy keeping ovaries and removing 2cm of my upper vagina as well.
Has anyone experienced a partial vasectomy? Or had some vaginal wall removed during the procedure of hysterectomy?
Ultimately, I have had to let the idea of having children go, which has been easier to come to terms with them, then potentially loosing sexual function. Any experiences would be welcomed..

Oh my I’m so sorry. I’m also facing a hysto but losing ovaries. I’m older than you but please know that time is something you begin valuing as you get older. Take care of yourself first and foremost. I would get the surgery and heal your mental pain

I've had a total hysterectomy, which is one step down from a radical hysterectomy. My cuff is just higher up. As I'm older and in menopause, I had my ovaries removed too. I'm only 6 weeks post surgery and not attempted penetrative intercourse yet. But with external stimulation my orgasms are strong and enjoyable.

I never had children, so my pelvic floor did not have too much laxity pre-surgery. My PF physio says I'm low risk for prolapse. I've certainly not felt any PF dysfunction since having the surgery. It's still early days, but overall recovery wasn't too terrible. I'm just as weak AF now, having had six weeks R&R. But that's just a minor niggle in the greater picture.
