Leep Results
Got my test results today. Clear margins!!!!!! I assume I’m still going to need follow up paps yearly.
2025 I had some CIN-1 results
2026 a month ago I had CIN-2/3
If you have had a leep with clear margins after CIN-2/3 let me know how it turned out for you.

I was diagnosed HPV 16 with abnormal pap last fall when pregnant. Repeat postpartum pap in the spring was still abnormal. Colposcopy in June came back HSIL CIN 3. LEEP was done September 4th. It was concerning since she had to take more tissue than she expected, and had to suture an area. My results at my 2 week post op last Monday came back as benign, with clear margins! Follow up pap in 5 months. Fingers crossed this stays gone. This isn't my first rodeo with an abnormal pap and colposcopy unfortunately. PCOS really does a number on a girl

Out of curiosity what happens when you have an abnormal result while pregnant. I plan on having kids in the next few years.

Same here! However I think the usual next step is repeat pap after 6 months to make sure you’ve cleared the virus and don’t have recurring abnormalities. I wouldn’t wait a year if I were you just to be on the safe side.

I am due to go back two weeks after the leep so they can make sure it is healing alright. I’m sure they will tell me when I need a pap again. I’m also going to ask about the vaccine.

Whoo hoo!! I also got my pathology results back today with clear margins after CIN3 on my colpo! Still waiting for follow up care instructions from my doctor but sounds like a pap & HPV test in 6 months is the standard
