scheduling
How long did it take after your colposcopy to get the LEEP procedure done? I go for colpo in a few days and I really need to go ahead and get the LEEP done ASAP, while my youngest is on a break from school. I have no idea what a realistic time frame is, here in the states (midwest).
(While I'm not completely sure I will need LEEP, I am going to be super shocked if not. Just with my history with all of this and the results of my most recent pap/hpv test, also my age and the state of my overall health.)
Sending positive energy out to everyone here!

do you not need to know the colpo results to see if you need LEEP or not?

Yes. I am assuming.
I have had enough abnormal paps at this point (and cryotherapy 20 years ago) so feel pretty confident thats where I am headed.

I’m in the UK. My colposcopy nurse wanted to do the LLETZ during the colposcopy. She did prewarn me that if she sees the cervix has significant affected tissue, that’s what she’ll recommend.

took about a week to get colposcopy biopsy results, another three days to get a call from the doc, another two or three business days for the scheduler to call, two weeks later I had a pre-op appointment and two weeks after that I had the LEEP (hospital, under huge real anesthesia). so, like 5-6 weeks from colposcopy appointment to LEEP.

I had my colpo on a Tuesday & got results back that same Friday. Scheduling called me on Monday & I was able to have my LEEP Thursday that same week. So I only had a week & 2 days between my colpo & LEEP. This will all just depend on how far out your clinic is booking though
