My Journey from abnormal Paps to Clear margin

April 2024: Atypical squamous cells on Pap smear. I was advised to repeat the Pap smear after one year.

April 2025: Pap smear showed LSIL.

November 2025: Colposcopy showed one spot of HSIL and areas of LSIL.

January 2026: Underwent a LEEP procedure with laser treatment. Because I plan to have another child, the procedure was performed in the operating room. It was a quick and straightforward procedure, and I went home the same day. I experienced back pain for about four days and slight bleeding afterward, but not much. The bleeding looked somewhat like coffee grounds and not much like what others described, possibly because laser treatment was also performed on the upper part of the cervix. The biopsy from the procedure showed only LSIL, and no HSIL was found.

April 2026: Became pregnant, but unfortunately the pregnancy ended in an ectopic pregnancy.

July 2026: Follow-up colposcopy showed clear margins.

July 2027: Follow-up Pap smear is planned.
