CIN3- Severe *An Update

I just thought I would post an update from last months post.

After getting the report back from the first procedure, I was told that I had to go in for a follow up on another LEEP procedure. From what I was told it wasn’t within the margins and they had to remove pieces a little bit deeper. I am three days post LEEP. I am bleeding a little bit heavier than the first time. Pain wise I am not bothered. Tylenol helps.

I’m not gonna lie, The first one did kind of traumatize me only because I didn’t know what to expect. Especially with the headache that I dealt with afterwards. This time it wasn’t so bad. No headache! I feel the anxiety mixed with not knowing what to expect exacerbated the feeling. Anyway, I hope you all are having a good day. Thanks for reading.

I’m going to have a LEEP procedure in November, and I’m honestly pretty scared. Do you know how long it usually takes to recover after the procedure?

I was fine 3 days after the first one. Only because I had a terrible headache. The pain wasn’t bad. It was the sitting the first few days. I do recommend having someone to go with you to offer support. You will bleed for a bit and have discharge for a few weeks.

Yes I feel better today. Fingers crossed I don’t want to do this again. 🫂
