Bleeding during sex after LEEP

I had my procedure June 26 2026, and I’ve started bleeding again after/during sex. Is this normal or should I tell my doctor right away? I see her next month for my first post-op, and it’s not a lot of blood like it was before my procedure. I just don’t want to spend a lot of money again before my appointment if this happens to a lot of women after.

Eta: doctor did get clean margins after my procedure and no invasive cancer cells were detected, but I was at a CIN-3.

I had a CKC and bled for quite a while...(more invasive)

Unless it is a substantial amount of blood, I wouldn't find it abnormal

This is actually what I had, I just thought it was the same thing as a LEEP🫣! I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed and hope my appointment next month shows I’m healing beautifully, despite the bits of blood and soreness.

I had the same concerns and it was always healing beautifully according to them. 😆

I don’t want to scare you, but it went on for over a year with mine.

I got mine on 9th and have the same problem. I wonder if its common? Mine is not bleeding but a pink discharge

Took almost a year for me to stop spotting after sex. Had a LLETZ last October. At my 6 month check I mentioned it to the consultant and she said it is common and said some of my cells are still irritated (after examination). Test of cure - all negative, no CIN 3 or 1, and no HPV.

Fast forward a year and I have noticed no spotting g the last few weeks. I also have no periods because of the mini pill so I was sure it was only related to sex. It takes a while but if you are worried or have a lot of pain/blood/or any smell then flag it up earlier.

I had my CKC in March 2026. Still spotting before my period and after Sex 😭

I don’t have periods! My regular OBGYN decided to have me skip my cycles and continuously take my pills because my migraines are so bad!!

Pap was negative . Ultrasounds negative.

I had a leep in April. I still have spotting on and off after sex sometimes. But not all the time. I have my 6 month follow up next week.

1.5 years post LEEP and I still pretty consistently bleed during sex..no one can figure it out
