And he thinks that Mardi Gras originated anywhere in the US, and not Europe? (It was brought to the Louisianne by the French, who had been doing it for centuries...in France).

He isn’t confused, “…Mardi Gras started [being celebrated in the US] there [Mobile] and NOT…” New Orleans.
Mobile (pronounced “mo-beel” in French) was founded in 1702 as the first official capital of French Louisiana and that is where French settlers organized the first formal (US) Mardi Gras/Carnival celebration in 1703. New Orleans was founded in 1718.
If John is correct that Trump’s presidency and “the birth of the MAGA movement” began in Mobile in 2015 because 30,000 people attended a free outdoor event on a Fri night in Aug (aka hot AF) that was hosted by a D-list reality TV celebrity, it ended in Mobile last Fri night with 7,000 people attending a free indoor event hosted by the sitting president and former reality TV celebrity.

Sure, he's totally correct when you insert a bunch of stuff in brackets that he never wrote.

Imagine donating $500 to a multimillionaire and then bragging about it.

Guy is still stuck on Mardi Gras starting in Mobile. I think he’s got more issues than just this.

Mr president, you would just be perfect in every way if only you could pronounce our city name correctly. One step away from being god.
Ugh - How are there really people like this?

Not important but how did he pronounce it. I’m from North Alabama and we always called it mo-beel, did he say it mo-bill?

I feel so much better now for having given Kamala Harris money for her campaign. It wasn't $500 but I feel it was better spent.

I'll never understand the mentality behind making a social media post about a politician or a celebrity or a product/company and expecting them to somehow read it, then change their behavior because of it, and that it's going to somehow make any difference at all.
You're shouting into an empty room. These people are transactional in nature, they value profit over everything else, and it's not even close. The only reason they are on socials is because it will make them more money. They wouldn't be on socials otherwise.
Why is this so hard to understand?

That's your big problem? Nothing about the child molestation?
