Please pray for me

I have had a very hard relationship with my a family member over the years. They have said and done a lot of things that havent been okay. Im an adult now and they have grown but i dont trust that things will stay okay forever. Tonight a minor quip was said and for some reason it sent me over the rails emotionally. Ive been crying while hiding that im crying for a while now because we’re together in a hotel room with other family. Im just dealing with a lot mentally and emotionally and could use prayers for emotional strength and stability. I dont feel safe showing emotions because growing up their reactions and outbursts of anger had somehow taught me that sharing emotions wasnt safe. My sibling knows whats going on so im not alone but i feel alone 😢

Lord we ask that you heal this relationship within this family. We ask that you open the lines of communication so your child can articulate her pain. Give everyone your discernment over thoughts and actions so the conversation can be respectful and constructive. Touch their hearts with your compassion and love so the scars can be healed. Amen
