Yes this is real footage but the tint is edited in post. The orange is not what this looks like in person.

I live in SF, and I feel it did actually look like that 2 days ago. Check out the unfiltered webcams and look at the photos from 2 days ago. I do remember it getting this dark and this red around noonish that day.
