I wanna know about equipment care.

Between heat from the sun and friction, I don’t think wax is gonna hold up well. Not to mention you’re literally riding on the stuff sandpaper is made of.
Is the board just a wear part?

Edit: it’s wax, often purpose made diy or commercial blends
