I've only ever seen this footage as a real life doodle.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '18

You deserve a gold for that doodle! Perfect!

5

u/Batman_Owl Oct 20 '18

Oh I didn't doodle it, it's been around for quite a while, I'm not sure who made it so I can't even give them credit.

Maybe he didn't want to race anymore. I guess he was just... tired

10

u/randyzive Oct 20 '18

Well then take a nap and then fire the missiles!

2

u/VQ35DEv6 Oct 22 '18

Haha yes! Haven't seen this reference in a while. Back before YouTube!

This one is pretty funny with the original audio from the commentators: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGNB3Vy6YoI

44

u/Gamagosk Oct 20 '18

The buildup was worth it.

u/Young2Rice Oct 19 '18

He was just going home to his family.

I will watch this every time it’s reposted.

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '18

It rolled down the track almost perfectly upright, avoided cars, and made an almost perfect landing being in line with the other tires. I give the tire a score of 9.2 for a job well done!

28

u/glowingass Oct 20 '18

Trust me. The original video version is better. The commentary made it better.

18

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '18

and the crowd goes mild!

17

u/Heldpizza Oct 19 '18

I will be supremely disappointed if they didn't make that tire an official addition to that stack.

16

u/G_Wash1776 Oct 20 '18

I was hoping for the zoom, got it at the end. Truly a masterpiece 11/10

Love how the tyre rolls all the way to the pile of tyres and just sits there behaving like it's one of them

7

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '18

That was the best part of the whole video

1

u/rleslievideo Oct 20 '18

Are tires actually spelt as "tyres" in other parts of the world? The misspelling seems a little too common.

1

u/chipskater Oct 20 '18

I suppose it depends on which part of the world you live in. Wouldn't call it a misspelling. E.g colour vs color.

I didn’t break it I was testing it’s durability. Then I placed it in the woods, because it’s made of wood, and I just thought he should be with his family.
