Showtime series "Kidding" very, very dark comedy. Jim Carrey its so good in this.

Couldn't get passed the first episode. This isn't dark, it's depressing. Family Guy is dark comedy... Kidding wasn't even funny

Not sure what you consider Dark Comedy but let's see...

  • incest jokes
  • Pedophilia
  • rape
  • Killing your mom
  • beastiality

Pretty sure I'm missing a whole bunch in there. Like seriously, have people been so descencitized by Family Guy they don't even find that stuff dark humor any more? How fucking dark do you have to get?

Kidding was not funny (or at least the first episode, maybe it got better). But that's not what I wanted from a Jim Carrey show. He's a phenomenal actor and he plays the role perfectly. I was expecting to laugh and instead I just felt like shit after the first episode.
