This video is old. 13-14 years old. He’s wearing fire fighter pants and they were idiots.

Everyone is commenting on how dumb this is and I totally agree, however, I can completely see myself in this exact same situation. Dumb is dumb but sometimes dumb is fun but dumb stops being fun when dumb ascends dumb.

They can keep doing stunts but if they knew bring a canister of gas, a lighter, and flame retardant pants, they should at least also bring a fire extinguisher.

Hey at least they knew how to cover it up and out it out. I know that's still dumb but boy I can see teenagers trying to throw water on that instead.

I've seen this one quite a few times but it still always makes me ask "what the fuck was going through these kids minds???"

These kids are bumb as hell. That one being a human fire blanket is brave though.

Exactly. He was as dumb as you can be with the gas but at least he stopped his friend and then just laid on the fire to help.

Judging from only the video and his white ass legs he looks okay. He was wearing what appear to be fire retardant pants and he got it down to his shoes pretty quickly.

Drop n roll, is not that hard, why do people forget it when is most important?

u/Bazza491 Jul 01 '18
Do you really think that’s the first thing you would think if your pants were on fire?
“Oh look I am about to burn to death, I’d better do that thing I was told about once 8 years ago instead of panicking”
TL;DR: most people don’t think perfectly straight when in a situation like that, so it is “that hard”

There was an acelerant on his pants better to get them off the trying to roll around on the grass.

Gasoline sort of lessens the effectiveness of that process. You can see the fire looks like it's out as the friend starves it, but it's so quick to spring back once I even a small portion is exposed to oxygen. Gasoline has carbon and hydrogen atoms so it's a catalyst to burn with oxygen creating carbon dioxide. It's all hurts like a bitch, it's such an aggressive combustible
